For those interested in joining the Seconds or Blues teams, registration for Trials 2025 is now open. Trials are Saturday, October 11th at 9:45 am at the Rosenblatt / Iffley pool. You must register beforehand. Trials entail swimming a 50m Freestyle and your choice from the following: 50m stroke, 100 IM, 200 Freestyle. Please come with a towel, suit, cap, and goggles (but if you can’t find one, let us know and we can try to help).
For those interested in joining the Social Squad, please get in touch with the Social Squad officer here. The first practice of the 2025-2026 season is Saturday, October 11th at noon at the Rosenblatt / Iffley pool. You do not need to compete in trials for the Social Squad.

Trials
If you plan to join the Blues or Seconds teams at the beginning of the academic year, you must compete in trials, which are typically held on the Saturday of 0th week.
We understand many new athletes are out of practice when trials take place, so don’t worry if you aren’t at peak physical condition. Our captains take this into account when placing you in a training group.
Trials are as much a way for you to get to know us as it is a way for us to get to know you! If you haven’t decided yet whether you would like to join or not, please consider trialing to see how you like it.
